WHAT ARE BEARINGS - Bearings are "parts that assist objects' rotation bearings assist the shaft that rotates inside the machinery smoothly.

The wheel hub unit commercial vehicles- The unit is made up of two modified taper bearings, with a retaining clip to make it easier to mount the wheel hub.
Hub insert unit – This are standard taper roller bearing comes in pair of inner and outer bearings with two rotary shaft seals.
Repair insert unit – (RIU).This are sealed bearing units are pre- assembled and lubricated .This particular unit increases stiffness and service life. It also reduces running noise.

HISTORY OF TAPER BEARINGS -John Lincoln Scott, a farmer and carpenter by profession applied for patent in United States patent office for invention of taper bearing the year was 1895 and day was 23 rd march .The bearing was composed of two sets of cylindrical rollers, one set larger in diameter than the other. In the year 1898 conical rollers were used for the first time in the taper bearings. This particular design helped carriage move more smoothly.
